So I just felt like leaving a message for Michael to read, if he wishes to reply in any way that's okay with me.
So I went to the Twilight Convention in San Francisco back in February, and believe it or not had not seen the movie yet. (I finally saw it last weekend.) I went with my friend, she is in love with all things Twilight, and her mom wouldn't let her go to San Francisco by herself. I mainly wanted to see California. I might try to live there one day or maybe NY, I'm a theatre major and hope to work in the business.
Actually I had brought my makeup kit with me to work on some homework while I was there, the day I got Michael and Kellen's autograph I decided to see if I could recreate the vampire makeup from the movie. Silly me, I hadn't even seen the movie, and besides I'm only in Makeup 1 I still got a lot more to learn. But I did like the expressions I got from people all day, I was thinking I must have looked liked a hardcore Twilight fan. Which really I am such a Sci-fi geek!

That brings me to my "a-ha moment." I was watching the Sci-fi channel and saw this Joan of Arcadia marathon, when I all of sudden saw the younger brother...I was thinking "Hey ain't that Michael Welch that guy I saw at the convention?" Looked him up on imdb and about had a cow...well not really but I was a little surprised. I think it's cool when you rediscover actors you loved later in their careers. I remembered thinking that Luke was pretty cool on that show. Michael did some great acting and I'm glad he didn't disappear like some child actors do.

I guess the main point of this was I'm glad I'm able to say I liked Michael before Twilight, and I think you have done some great acting so far. I wish you the best of luck with your career and I hope you can use the popularity of Twilight to your best advantage.

Sincerely,
ncbookworm
