Alex is coming to the UK and he'd like to meet up with his fans! He'll be hosting an evening on 4th April 2009 in Bristol, UK (exact location to be revealed later).

Tickets cost £50 and for that you'll get:
- an evening with Alex in a private location for a very limited number of his fans,
- a signed headshot (we're hoping to get a completely new never-before-signed one!),
- and a full buffet dinner.

There'll also be a special extra little gift for the first 10 people to sign up. Tickets will go on sale at 8pm (GMT) on Sunday 1st February.

I will definitely be trying my best to get there!!

Both my parents live just outside Bristol (in Yate & almondsbury) so I would have somewhere to stay if I can't afford a hotel or hostel for the night. If there is anyway i can help out, just let me know!!

Alas, I'm across the pond! If I were within 1,000 miles, I'd be there! Sadly, I am 4,073 miles (6,554 km) away.

Hey Folks, Alex here! Wow I finally got logged on! I am in the 21st century!! Yahoo! Well I hope everyone is doing well and having a great time in the snow! I better bring my snowshoes when I come over! So what up people? I am really getting excited to come over, seeing all these travel shows about England! So cool! Cities,of the Underground etc! Them Romans knew what they were doing! Scotland is on the agenda and the Cotswolds, Portsmith, and London! As well as Bristol of course!! I just had an audition for a lead in a spin off of NCIS and a great movie that would shoot around the world. Any thoughts of nice places to go? Well the hour is late as usual, and I have to be up in five hours so I better sign off! ox Alex

Can you tell me if there are any other hotels that are near the venue as I have looked at the ones that were suggested and one is too expensive and the other isn't really suitable.

I really want to go and its doable but I just need some help with accommodation before I can say yes for definite.

Most hotels in central Bristol will be close enough to the event. What sort of place are you looking for?

There's the Premier Inn Express on Haymarket selling at £58 a night. I imagine you might be able to find a cheap Bed and Breakfast.
